Guiding Symptoms.     Hepatic and rheumatic liking particularly with urinary / hemorrhoidal and menstrual issues. Rapid changes in symptoms occurs i.e pains change by changing place and nature similarly thirst interchange with thirstlessnes, hunger interchange with less appetite. This remedy causes irritation of kidneys with hematuria. Pains in constituency of kidneys present hence its use in renal and vesicle difficulty, gallstones, and vesicle catarrh. Pains may be felt all over body, originating from low back. All Berberis pains relieve worse by pressure, but worse in different outlook, especially while standing and active exercise. It has a great action on liver. It promotes bile flow. Frequently called for in painful affection with urinary disorder. Drifting, blistering pains present. Acts well on overweight persons and good livers but with little stamina. Old gouty structure.

Abdomen Symptoms. Catarrh of the gallbladder with constipation and yellow skin texture. Stitches in gallbladder region which worsens from force and expanding towards stomach. Fastening deep in Ilium. Edging pain in front of kidneys which extends towards liver, spleen and stomach.

Head Symptoms. Coolness in back and occiput presents. Lethargic, uninterested, uncaring head. Swollen impression, patient feels that head is becoming larger and larger. Dizziness with complains of weakness. Patient feels that of a tight cap is pressing upon his whole scalp. Scratching pain in auricle.

Urine Symptoms. Pain appears in umbilical region. Thick and bright red mucus comes in urine. Urging to regularly urinate. Sparkling and uncomfortable feeling in kidneys. Pain in the thighs and side on which urinate. Patient feels that he has to urinate some more.

Female Symptoms. Spartan menses, gray color mucus which comes out with pain in kidneys and down the thighs. Shoplifting constraint in mons veneris, vaginal narrowing and softness. Flaming and discomfortness of vagina. Sex desire reduced. Ovarian and vaginal neuralgia. In leucorrhea gray color mucus comes out, with aching urinary indication.

Male Symptoms. Burning and covering in testicles, prepuce and scrotum. Spermatic cord and testicles neuralgia.

Stool Symptoms. Painless burning, and stinging in anus diarrhea, mud colored. Regular influence to stool. Anal fistula. Scratching around anus.

Fever Symptoms. Heat in lower back, hips, and thighs. Cold feeling in different parts as if sprinkled with cold water.

Backside Condition. Unfeeling, aching consciousness. Post-operative pain in lumbar region. Tenderness with prickly pain following course of diacritical iliac nerve to bladder with recurrent urination. Slashing and joining with inflexibility, making rising difficult, involving hips and limbs, with deadness. Stitches in neck and back which worse by respiration. Sever backache exist in the patient (compare with Rhus tox in this condition). Metatarsus and metacarpus feel like twisted. Fixing pain in region of kidneys around abdomen.

Skin Symptoms. Bounded pigmentation following by eczematous irritation. Eager, flaming and tingling which worse from rubbing and better from cold submissions. Little abscess over whole body. Eczema of hands and anus.

    

Extremities. Neuralgia under fingernails and puffiness of finger joints. Extreme exhaustion of legs after a little walking. Aching paralytic pain in legs, feet, shoulders and arms. Feeling of cold on exterior of thighs. Heels pain. Edging between metatarsal bones. Pain in spheres of feet when walking.

Modalities. Worse by movement and footing.

Relationship:-

i.                 Compare with:- Nuxvomica, Lycopodium and Sarsaparilla.

ii.               Antidote by:-  Belladonna.

Dosage. Mother Tincture and 200 up potencies highly recommended.
