Guiding Symptoms.     Vertigo, lethargy, monotony and trembling. Absolute recreation and prostration. It markedly acts upon nervous system and causing different degree of speed paralysis. Sluggish pulse, worn-out feeling, mental indifference. Paralysis of different groups of muscles of chest, larynx, eyes and throat. Weak muscles. Nervous affections of tobacco and cigarette makers. Lack of muscular management found. Children fear falling, clutch nurse. General sadness from sun heat. Susceptible to falling indicator, cold and humidity brings.

Mind Symptoms. Hallucinating while sleep. Wants to be calm and to be left alone. Tediousness and laziness. Child grab the nurse, and shout as if afraid from falling down (compare with Borax in this condition). Stage fright presents. Emotional enthusiasm and fear. Lead to physical disorder. Bad effects of fear and stimulating news.

Head Symptoms. Dizziness and dispersal from occiput. Substance of head, band feeling around and occiput. Boring with immensity of eyelids. Injured feeling which better from solidity and lying with head on high place. Pain in temples, widened towards ear and nose. Headache with muscular tenderness of neck and shoulders. Headache go before by blindness and better from plentiful urination. Hallucinating on falling asleep.

Male Symptoms. Gonorrhea in inital stage, inadequate discharge, inclination to oxidize, burning in meatus. Spermatorrhea without erection. Scrotum frequently sweat. Sex organ frozen and calm (compare with Phosphoric Acid in this condition).

Female Symptoms. Pain expands to back and hips. False labor pains which pass up to back side. Dysmenorrhea with insufficient flow and delayed menses. Patient feels that uterus pressed (compare with Nuxvomica and Chamomilla in this condition). Aphonia and throat painful during menses.

                   

Throat Symptoms. Burning and irritating in soft appetite. Difficult gulping. Throat feels jagged and blazing. Pain move to and fro from throat to ear. Feeling of a knob in throat that cannot be ingested. Drink causes pain in ear (compare with Nuxvomica and Heper Sulph in this condition). Firm swallowing principally from warm food.

Face Symptoms. Face flushed, hot and heavy (compare with Opium and Baptisia in this condition). Darkish shade on face having dizziness and weak eyesight. Face muscle thin, particularly around the mouth. Inferior jaw went down.

Eyes Symptoms. Weak eyesight, pupil expanded and numbed to light. Troubled muscular tackle. Cures haziness and embarrassment in eyes even after precisely familiar spectacles. Eyesight unclear and smoky (compare with Phosphorus in this condition). Disconnected retina, glaucoma and descemetitis present in the patient. Neuralgia of orbit, with reduction and jerking of physique. Battered pain back of the trajectory. Ptosis, eyelids feels too heavy to open. One pupil expanded and the other slendered. Deep irritations, with lack of clarity of vitreous.

Fever Symptoms. Heat and sweat points long and fatiguing. Dumb-ague with muscular pain and severe headache. Desires to be held by anyone because his body shakes. Soft, compressible and slow pulse. Cool, thirst less, spine pain expanding uphill from sacrum to occiput. Anxious coldness. Bilious remeittent fever with state of unconsciousness, faintness, thirst less and prostrated.

Stomach Symptoms. Empty Feeling of stomach and limitation at the hollow of the stomach. Normally Gelsemium patient has less thirst. Hiccough which worsens in the evening time.

Sleep. Feverish while sleeping. Can’t sleep well. Insomnia from anxious frustration. (compare with Coffea in this condition). Wakefulness due to fatigue from out of control thinking.

Relationship.

         

i.                 Compare with:- Ignitia, Aconite, Cimic, Mag phos, and Ipecac.

ii.                Antidoted by:- Coffea and China.

Dosage. Mother Tincture and 30 potency give better results.
