Guiding Symptoms:-
Compacted fingers. Extreme distress is a
marking symptom to this remedy.
Relieves post operative pains. Quite take over from the use of morphia after
operations. Remedy for injuries of nervous system of fingers, toes and nails
etc. Contraction after every injury. Neuritis, scratchy, blazing and lack of
sensation. Has an great action on the rectum and renal hemorrhoids. Intermittent asthmatic assail
with changes of weather or before storms which relieves by abundant
expectoration. Injured nerves due to animal bites.
Mind Symptoms. Special
effects of distress. Patient feels that he is lifted in the air, or nervousness
that he will be fall from heights. Downhearted condition present. Doing mistakes
while writing.
Extremity. Heaving in hand and feet. Heaviness in arms. Spasm in calves. Painful
neuralgia and neuritis. Joints injured. Rushing pain in shoulders. Pain in toes
and fingers particularly in tips of fingers. Neuritis along with stinging pain and deadness.
Pain in limbs.
Stomach Symptoms. Desire to
drink water. Sensation of bump in abdomen (compare with Bryonia in this condition). Desire of wine. Base
of tongue covered white while the tip is clean.
Skin Symptoms. Slashed injuries
with much prostration due to loss of blood. Sweating on scalp which worsens during
morning time, falling of hair due to injury, eczema of hands and face, powerful
burning. Old sores or stinging in mouth.
Head Symptoms. Head seems bigger than normal. Hurting in highest point of head which
worse in dark room. Brain feels squeezed together. Head heavy, seems as if gripped
by a cold hand. Pains stay in eyes and ears. Facial neuralgia and
toothache. In fractured skull bone fragment.
Modalities. Worsen in cold, humidity, in dark room and by touching. Better from twisting head toward the back.

Compare with:- Chamomilla, Ruta, Ledum Pal, Calendula, Arnica and Coffea.

Antidoted
by:- Chamomilla and Arsenic.
Dosage. Mother tincture i.e Q and 30C normally
being used.
