Guiding Symptoms.     It is called children remedy, in general, because it gives better results in ailments of children where irritability, impatience, and abdominal pain exist. Psychological and mental symptoms of this remedy, are of great importance. Gentle, quiet and kind nature and lethargic and constipated intestines contra-indicates this remedy. Patient is susceptible, bad-tempered, dehydrated and numbed. Bad effects of alcohol, coffee and nicotine. Unbearable pain along with numbness. More sweats during night time.

Mind Symptoms.  Pathetic complaining the child for toys etc. Psychological coolness does not come in the jurisdiction of this remedy. Kids calm down when carried high up by some one continuously. Child wants toys and refuses later on. Annoyed and prejudiced when asked or talk to, susceptible to little hurt and always complaining about the pain. Grievances from annoyance and displeasure.

Head Symptoms. Tendency to twist backward. Burning and sticky sweat on temples and scalp. Hurting headache in the brain.

Female Symptoms. Spasmodic labor pains which travel in upward direction (compare with Gelsemium in this condition). Copious liberation of coagulate and dark blood. Bleeding from uterus. Yellow colored pungent leucorrhea (compare with Sulphur , Arsenic and Sepia in this condition). Intolerance due to much pain (compare with Pulsatella , Caulophylum and Causticum in this condition). Nipples become reddened and wants to be touched.

            

Face Symptoms. Drives to disturbance. One cheek of the patient remains red and burning while the other one is pale-yellow colored and chilly. Stitches in jaw expanding towards ears and teeth. Teething complaints of children (compare with Calcarea Phos in this condition). Movement of facial muscles.

Ears Symptoms. Earache with tenderness and patient become anxious due to heat. Binding pain in ears. Patient feels ringing of bell in ears. Ears feel blocked.

Mouth Symptoms. Great saliva in mouth during night. Toothache from eating warm or drinking coffee and in pregnant women.

Respiratory Symptoms. Bad-tempered and dry cough, sour expectoration in daytime. Clattering of mucus in kids chest. Croakiness and roughness of larynx.

Stomach Symptoms. Sour and bilious vomiting. Dislike humid drinks. Vomiting after drinking coffee. High sweat comes after eating or drinking. Gastralgia, patient feels that there is a stone in the stomach (compare with Bryonia in this condition). Tongue become pale colored. Acidity increases in stomach.

Abdomen Symptoms. Patient suffers from hepatic pain. Flatulent colic with red colored cheeks and burning perspiration. Abdomen inflated. Acute inflammation of duodenum (compare with Kali bichrom in this condition). Tearing pain around navel and low back pain.

Extremities. Ankles yield in the afternoon. Aggressive rheumatic pains can’t let him to sleep. Feet become parlysis at night. Blazing of soles at nighttime (compare with Sulphur in this condition).

    
Modalities. All the symptoms worsen from walk in open air, at night and better from being carried up and warm wet weather.

Relationship.

i.              Compare with:- Staphasgaria, Ignita, Belldonna, Aconite and pulsatella.

ii.            Antidoted by:- Pulsatella, and Nux vomica

iii.           Complementary remedies:- Mag carb and Belladona

Dosage. 3x and 30C.
