GuidingSymptoms.    Gastroenteritis with pain and vomiting of bile. Watery effortless and copious stool with mucus like jelly. This remedy has great effect to persons of bilious temperament. It influence predominantly the duodenum, small intestines, liver and rectum. Portal puffiness with an affinity to hemorrhoids, hypo gastric region pain, extensiveness of stratum of the face. Many difficulties in pregnant females, hanging abdomen after detention or delivery, trouble-free cholera.

Mind Symptoms. Sadness of feelings. Loquacity and hallucination from eating acidic fruits and vegetables.

Stomach Symptoms. Vomiting of sizzling and bubbly mucus. Burning and bitter belching, sickness and queasiness. Indigestion, suppressing or blank gagging. Milk like vomiting. Desire for huge amount of water (compare with Bryonia in this condition).

           

Rectum Symptoms. Dry, difficult, hard and mud colored constipation. Effortless diarrhea in morning. Both internal and external piles exist. Green, water like thin and plentiful cholera of children. Prolapsus of rectum during stool. Constipation changing with diarrhea (compare with Antum Tart in this condition). Diarrhea in morning and during teething period of babies. Hot and bright cheeks while being bathing in summer  after eating acidic fruits and vegetables.

Fever Symptoms. Huge sweat during fever.  Fever goes down at about 6-7 a.m. Pain in hypochondria and joints still remains.

Mouth Symptoms. Complex dentition in babies. Tongue extensive, big and too humid. Crushing the teeth at night, powerful wish to depress the gums together (compare with Phytolacca in this condition). Blazing feeling of tongue. Unclean and rotten taste. 

Extremities. Pain in right inguinal area which rushes in downward from internal thigh towards knee joints.  Paralytic weakness of left side of the body. Pain among shoulders, beneath right scapula, in sides and lumbar area.

Female Symptoms. Hemorrhoids with prolapsus of anus while pregnant. Concealed menses. Prolapsed uterus particularly after parturition. Prolapsus due to exertion or injury while pregnant. Pain in uterus and right side ovary, with changing clatters along ascending colon.

Modalities. All the symptoms worsen during morning, in warm climate and during dentition of children.

     

Relationship. Compare with:- Nux vomica, Sulphur and Merc sal.

     

Dosage. Mother tincture and 6x is often used. In case of babies cholera higher potency may please be used for better relief.
