Guiding Symptoms.     Nervous indications are of most significance in this remedy. Imminent brain paralysis. Tissues are damaged swiftly. Toxin from concealed outbreak or expulsion. Stage of despair in illness. Spinal affections present. Pain feels between skin and soft tissues. In persistent issues with brain and spinal signs, wobbly, paroxysmal jerking and restless feet are the major indications of this remedy. Enormous relief due to release.  High anemia and deep prostration. It decreases the number of RBC. Chorea due to terror or concealed explosion. Spasm and  color is pale. 

Mind Symptoms. Baby repeats his talking. Very insightful to noise. Melancholia exists in the patient. Memory weakens.  Reluctant to physical work and talking.  Patient become lethargic and stupid. Frightens due to imaginary offense. 

Fever Symptoms. Limits of body chills. Recurrent and feverish quivering down back. Abundant sweat on feet. Patient suffers from night sweat.

Head Symptoms.  Patient rolls head from side ways. Pain in occiput and weight feels on the vertex. Tendency to fall to left side. Headache due to drinking of wine. Hydrocephalus presents. Turn off head into pillow.  Involuntary movement of head and hands. Brain-fag and headaches of school children due to too much mental work. Forehead remains cool while base of brain hot.

           

Male Symptoms. Discharge with hypochondriasis. Testes enlarged and drained up. Testicles go up into spermatic cord. Wild and high erection. Declining off of  pubic hair.

Female Symptoms.  Menses flows swift during night. Nipples remain painful. Ovarian pain presents particularly in left ovary. Nipples uncomfortable. Dried up cough before and during menstrual periods. Symptoms relieve during menses (compare with Lachesis in this condition). All the symptoms aggravate with impatience, sadness and spinal tenderness. Delayed and concealed menses  and censored lochia (compare with Pulsatilla in this condition).

Eyes Symptoms. Red and irritated conjunctiva which worsens in inner canthus. Burning and impatient Pterygium. Burning and tenderness of eyelids. Progressing of eyes. Haziness of half vision. Amaurosis with rigorous headache.

Respiratory Symptoms. Unbearable and intermittent cough which worsens from eating bakery items. Blazing heaviness under the sternum bone. Restriction and hurtful pain in chest. Dyspnea betters when expectoration comes. Asthmatic bronchitis with constraint of chest. Baby grabs genitals while coughing.

             

                                                                                                        

Throat Symptoms. Pain in swollen throat muscles. Throat dry steady proclivity to hawk up stubborn mucus. Roughness and aridness found in throat and larynx.

Skin Symptoms. Patient feels that insect crawling on the skin due to which patient can’y sleep well. Varicose veins particularly of lower ending of body (compare with Pulsatilla in this condition). Burning of thighs and concave portion of knees. Eczema, particularly in the pale and anxious.

Abdomen Symptoms. Splashing and griping, abdomen inflated. Protest after eating. Pain appears even after little eating. Pain under umbilical region. Impulse indications from suspended kidney. Abdominal pain with flatulence and withdrawal of abdomen. Bloated and indurated painful liver.

Rectum Symptoms. Unexpected termination of diarrhea. Firm, little and constipated stool. Cholera infant with tenesmus and discharges green mucous. 

Extremities. Feet in constant movement. Spasms with pale color face. Weakness, rickety and jerking of different muscles. Patient suffers from Chilblains (compare with Agaricus muscarus in this condition). Patient, while walking steps with whole sole of foot. Limbs sweaty. Soles of feet susceptible. Crossways caution, particularly in higher edges of the body. 

Modalities. Symptoms worsens during menses, about 5 to 7 in the evening, after taking dinner and drinking wine. Betters from eating, expulsion.

Relationship.

i.              Compare with:- Pulsatilla, Agaricus Lachesis and Ignitia

ii.            Antedoted by:- Chamomilla and Nuxvomica

Dosage. 2x to 6x.
