Guiding Symptoms.     High sensitiveness to all imitation. Panic patient which pulls blanket around him. This remedy has special similarity to the respiratory mucous membrane, producing croupous catarrhal irritation and plentiful emission. This remedy can also be used after mistreatment of Mercury. It gives better result in scrofulous and lymphatic structure who are inclined to have outbreak and glandular enlargement. Tendency to suppuration is a major symptom of this remedy. Blondes with lethargic character and weak muscles. The scratches produced by small papules around old wounds. Coolness, hypersensitiveness, wants to eat sour are the most mark able symptoms of this remedy. Tainted sinus with pus forming.

Mind Symptoms.  Patient became annoy easily. Miserable and depressing. Distress in evening time and during night and plan to suicide. Quickly talking. Patient became violent.

Skin Symptoms.   Decayed soreness encircled by small size of pimples. Patient cries due to pain. Skin become easily bleed. Chapped skin and deep cracks on hands and feet. Bleeding from wounds which smells like old cheese. Abscesses exists. Ulcers very sensitive to touch, burning, cruel and bleeding easily. Regular disgusting smell comes from the body. Sweats day and night. Cold sores very sensitive. Acne appears in youth. Papules prone to suppurate and expand. Sticking or perforate in ill parts. High sensitiveness to little touch. Chronic and returning frequently urticaria.

Eyes Symptoms.  Eyes and eyelids become red and irritated. Pain in the eyes and patient feels that the eyes pulled towards the head. Iritis with pus in frontal cavity of eye, purulent conjunctivitis, with chemosis, copious emissions and high sensitiveness to touch and air. Boring like pain in upper bones of the orbits. Eyeballs become painful to touch. Ulcers of cornea. Things seems red colored and large in size. Bright white circles before eyes. Vision obscured by reading, visual field reduced to one-half.

Male Symptoms.  Excitement and discharge without romantic imaginations. Herpes sensitive and bleeding easily. Itching and burning of glans penis, frenum and scrotum. Suppurating inguinal glands. Ulcers and wounds found externally on prepuce similar to chancre (compare with Nitric Acid in this condition). Figwarts of disgusting and offensive odor. Damp and humid tenderness on genitals / sex organs and between scrotum and thigh.

Female Symptoms.  Late and scanty menses. Abscesses in labia (Minora and Majora) with great sensitiveness. Plentiful perspiration at the climacteric. Bleeding from uterus. Offensive leucorrhea. Smells from leuchorrhea like old cheese. Itching and burning of pudenda and nipples which worsens during menses.

Nose Symptoms.  Smell like old cheese. Patient sneezes regularly in cold and dry wind with thick and offensive discharge running from nose. Nose sore, painful and ulcerated. Nose become blocked in cold air.  Soreness and itching of nostrils, with catarrhal troubles.

Abdomen Symptoms.  This remedy is used in hepatitis, hepatic abscess, distended and enlarged abdomen and chronic abdominal affections. Stitching in region of liver while walking, coughing, breathing or touching it (compare with Merc sol and Bryonia in this condition).

Throat Symptoms.  Quinsy with imminent suppuration. Stitches in throat expanding towards the ear. When swallowing the throat, feeling of a plug and of a splinter in throat. Hawking up of mucus.

Modalities. All the symptoms worsen from dry, cold winds, cool air, least draft and from using of Mercury. Symptoms better in damp and humid weather, from covering the head, from warmth and heat and after eating.

Relationship. 

i.              Antidoted by:- Silica, Belladonna and Chamomilla.

ii.             Compare with:- Silica, Sulphur, Aconite, Spongia tosta and Staphsagria.

Dosage. 30c, 200c and 2x for quick relief.
